Today on January 16th 2018 our robotics team will be helping teach a robotics course to the civil air patrol cadet squadron in Brighton Colorado. We look forward to helping them advance in their unit and giving back to our community!

Today we met with Anythink Brighton to discuss possible classes we could host for other people interested in robotics. we are excited to see the outcome of this meeting.
On Saturday, November 14, 2015 we won our very first scrimmage for team 10712. The challenge was held at a S.T.E.M. Academy in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Seven different teams attended. We met many teams and made friends with some. We made an alliance with another team.
I used Sketchup to draw all of the pieces from the DIY Mountain Build Guide that was published by USFirst. As I was drawing the pieces, I noticed that the original plans were incorrect and were missing a couple of pieces where the Upper Mountain joins the 80 degree crossbar supports. I fixed it by putting in a couple shim pieces as shown in the completed model.
I plan on modeling the robot too and importing both the model and the game field drawing into blender to test the model with physic settings turned on to simulate gravity. When that is complete, I will post.
